Works like it should

The curriculum is designed to effectively prepare you how you will work with SQL in a business environment. It is based on our multi year experience as analysts in big tech companies.

1

Working with single tables (2 weeks)

In the first two weeks, we start from the basics and teach you everything you need to learn about pulling and manipulating data from one table. We will discuss how to filter, aggregate, and order the rows and columns that you need to answer your business question. Additionally, the first two weeks will teach you how to apply all this knowledge to automate repetitive tasks in Google Sheets.

Working with multiple tables (2 weeks)

After setting up your foundation of SQL knowledge, you will learn how to combine data that comes from multiple tables. This is critical since data is never stored in a single table in any business. We will discuss methods on how to combine multiple tables by using joins, with statements and subqueries.

2
3

Business cases (2 weeks)

Practice is key when you are learning how to write SQL. Because of that, we will put you in two different business cases in which you need to work with SQL to answer the business questions that are being asked from you in the next two weeks. This will allow you to become more comfortable in translating business questions into data-driven answers, but this will also allow you practice the skills you have learned during the first four weeks.
