In the first two weeks, we will introduce you to how cloud databases store data and users can access this data using SQL. We focus on using SQL to analyse data from single tables in the database.
Once we understand how to use SQL to pull data from single tables, we will focus on how to combine data from multiple tables for more advanced analysis. This is a critical skill since data is rarely sourced in a single table.
Finally, we will learn how to connect to data from databases using Tableau with the goal to visualise the data. We will learn how to build various visualisations and how to combine them to build interactive dashboards.
